Welcome to The Wenona Center!

The Wenona Center, a Bay City Public School education facility, operates a high school curriculum and a self-contained middle school curriculum as an alternative education program for students who have been unsuccessful in traditional high and middle schools.

The mission of the Wenona Center is to assist each student to become a successful member of society.

To address this mission, the Wenona Center will:

Provide a safe, accepting, and creative learning environment
Provide creative learning opportunities in traditional and non-traditional ways
Commit to the teaching of life skills and the improvement of self-esteem
Prepare students for post high school opportunities
